| My matzo from Netgrocer arrived
in time for the Passover Seder.
I placed the order on Sunday and I was not expecting delivery until later
in the week. Netgrocer used FedEx
Home Delivery service and Chip (I believe that is what the writing says)
of FedEx left his card with name, address and toll free telephone number
along with a magnet for the refrigerator. The order was shipped out
of New Jersey and I am impressed
that it arrived here in three days (two business days). Most impressive,
perhaps, is that not a single piece of matzo was broken; each piece was
fully intact (I can see myself using this experience in a hypothesis test
question for a quiz next week in my probability and statistics class).
My hat's off to both Netgrocer and Manischewitz.
I did not, however, use this matzo for Wednesday evening's Passover
Seder as it was not kosher
for a Passover -- I did not discover this until I looked on the box
(this information was available online through Netgrocer's product "info"
link and I admit that I did not check the matzo "info" prior to ordering
it -- now I know for future reference to check carefully for this type
of information). I never envisioned myself mentioning religion as
part of my research, however, in general, depending on one's religious
beliefs and observations, one might want to investigate carefully certain
information about items that are sold online (and in bricks-and-mortar
as well) before acquiring them.
