| Pumpernickel Puppets gets a huge Brucie.
We were all entertained by John McDonough as Pumpernickel
Puppets put on a wonderful rendition of The Frog Prince. You see,
there was this prince, who was unkind and impolite.
A magic tree placed a spell on him which would
leave him as a frog until he learned to be kind
and could garner the kiss of a princess. There's a lot more to the
story -- and I am sure you would love to hear all about it :-) --
but I'll cut to the chase and tell you that "they all lived happily ever
after."
John does a great job. Amy and I have seen him perform in professional venues and we were extremely delighted to learn that he puts on performances in the home for a reasonable rate. I am not the type to go out and get a puppet show (or clown or magician or elephants) for a birthday party. Pumpernickel Puppets puts on a great show and it is well worth it to share this experience with others (adults love it too as John is sure to throw in some humor for the older set).. After the show, we all went to our backyard for face painting, mask making and Buzz Lightyear sheet cake (from Alden Merrill). John McDonough is Pumpernickel Puppets. His address is 507 Main Street, Box B-16 in Worcester, Massachusetts 01608. His telephone number is 508-799-4814 and his email address is Puppets2go@aol.com. (John did not pay me to post this information. He will not find out this information is posted until I send him an email notifying him of his Brucie.) I finally placed an order for rechargeable batteries for my digital camera. I placed my order for the Maha C204F NiMH/NiCd Battery Charger with four 1550mAH AA batteries (and an additional set of four 1550mAH AA batteries) from Thomas Distributing Communications & Electronics as recommended by -- who else -- Steve of Steve's Digicams. |
