24/7 DIARY ENTRY

Dear Diary
July 2
Looks like I will not  be visiting Homewarehouse.com anymore.  I was looking for some chain link, so I connected to OurHouse.com (did not have the necessary size link), CornerHardware.com (only sold in large quantities -- I only need about ten feet of chain link) and finally HomeWarehouse.com.  At the latter site, I saw the following message on its homepage:

Dear Friends,

Thank you for coming to visit us at Homewarehouse.com. Unfortunately, our site will be unavailable for the forseeable  future. We'd like to thank you for your interest, and apologize for any inconvenience.

If you have a question about an order you placed with us, please email customerservice@homewarehouse.com

Regards,

The Staff of Homewarehouse.com

(I think they spelled "foreseeable" incorrectly.)

Bah bah baaaaaaah
Bah bah baaaaaaah
Bah bah bah
Bah bah bah
Bah bah baaaaaaah
Bah bah baaaaaaah
Bah bah baaaaaaah
Bah bah baaaaaaah
(I apologize for the quality as I haven't played the trumpet in nearly twenty years.  No twenty one gun salute is necessary)

I placed my July Fourth Holiday grocery order with Homeruns this evening -- maybe Fred will make the delivery.  We'll be joining in with several neighbors for a block party cookout.  Happy Fourth of July.  ("You're a grand old flag, you're a high flying flag.  And forever in peace may you wave. You're the emblem of,  the land I love, the home of the free and the brave.  Ev'ry heart beats true 'neath the Red, White and Blue, where there's never a boast or brag.  But should auld acquaintance be forgot, keep your eye on the grand old flag."  You're A Grand Old Flag by George M. Cohan, 1911.)
