| Not exactly a heavy shopping day. For a few hours, I was involved
in a photo shoot with Mark Wilson (see home.earthlink.net/~mmkkww)
and then I did a bunch of running around. After dinner, Ben and I
hung out with the neighbors in our backyards -- we're somewhat communal
with regard to playing in our backyards -- and then I played some one-on-one
hoops with Adam, one of the neighbors. My foot is far from healed,
so my jumping and running was limited during the game; I do have, however,
both a significant height and age advantage -- Adam will be entering eighth
grade in the fall -- so this made for a competitive and enjoyable match.
(My guess is that I will hardly be able to walk tomorrow, but the hoops
game was worth it as I go bonkers when I can not run or do some sort of
leg power intensive exercising.)
I did receive an email from the Lexus
dealer about setting up a home visit for inspecting the LX470.
In addition, I received a shipping confirmation from Buy.com
that the order that I placed on July 3 (in
the evening) shipped on July 5. Assuming that they were closed on
July 4, this means they shipped next day -- most excellent.
