24/7 DIARY ENTRY

Dear Diary
July 29
Homeruns kept our family outing on schedule.  Amy and I had planned (actually, Amy planned everything and I said "yeah, sounds good") to go to the Lowell Folk Festival today (link may become inactive after Festival dates of July 28-30) in good old Lowell Massachusetts.  Amy wanted to leave the house by 11:00am.  Knowing this, we decided to request a 10am-12noon delivery time from Homeruns.  I made a special request, however, that our order be delivered before 11:00am if possible.  Well, the delivery person hustled and made it to our house at 10:45am.  When I thanked him for making it to our house before 11:00am, he said, he took care of a few orders very quickly in order to help us out.  When I mentioned that we were going up to Lowell, he replied that he lived in Lowell at one time.  Homeruns, please accept this well deserved Brucie as we all had a great time up at the Lowell Folk Festival (even though I am more of a rock 'n roll fan -- I love to crank it up).

Luis Castillo RBI Watch (Through July 29, 2000)

Luis went 0-4 and left two men on base (i.e., in total, two men, who were on base when Luis batted, did not score as a result of his at bats).
