Dear Diary
September 2
The Honda  Odyssey EX sure looks good in our driveway.  Too bad, it is not ours.  Friends of ours, who own a 2000 Honda Odyssey EX came over for dinner.  We ordered take out food and, fortunately, they had blocked in our cars when they parked their Odyssey in our driveway, so we took it out for a spin when we went to pickup our dinner order.

The only item that I had never personally inspected before was the power doors.  I have to say that I do like them.  I've heard some complaints that the doors open and close too slowly.  This was not my perception, however, I was only a passenger on one trip to and from a restaurant.

Luis Castillo RBI Watch (Through September 2, 2000)

Number of Hits......Batting Average......Number of RBI......Runs Scored
......154.......................351............................12........................84

Luis went 1-5, scored a run and earned an rbi for the second straight game (harumph) as the Marlins blasted the Arizona Diamondbacks 10-1.  Luis leadoff the game by grounding out.  In the third inning, with two out and no on, he grounded out.  In the fifth inning, with one out and men on second and third, Luis grounded out, however, the man on third scored which earned Luis an rbi.  Just like last night, Luis earned an rbi when he did not even get a hit on the play.  He leadoff the seventh inning with a triple to deep center field; and he leadoff the ninth inning with a ground out to the shortstop.  (These data are from ESPN.com)
