| I had another delightful experience with HomeRuns.
I made a special request that my scheduled 9:30 am - 11:30 am order arrive
as close as possible to 9:30 am. Another Brucie
for HomeRuns (they work hard for the money, so hard for the money...)
Sure enough, they showed up at 10:00 am; and the delivery person was, as
usual, pleasant (little do I know, he has stock options off the chart and
will be worth millions within 1-2 years). HomeRuns has made significant
improvements in its website, though it was particularly slow last night
(and that's with my high speed cable modem, courtesy of MediaOne).
I haven't heard from OnlineShoes.com. It's been over 24 hours
since I emailed them with my question. Internet customers bypass
the excess of bricks-and-mortar and cut to the chase. We expect prompt
and meaningful responses. I will get black dress shoes online; there
is no doubt about it.
