24/7 DIARY ENTRY

Dear Diary
November 11
Guess who showed up to make their first delivery today?  My old friend Streamline.  Let me get right down to my evaluation.

The Plusses:

$0.05 Bottle Redemption
They took the 450 redemption bottles that I had bagged.  Wow.  I left a note to the field person that I would appreciate it if they would take all 450 bottles and cans.  They did it and I appreciate it.  Well done.

Amy Found The Website Easy to Use
Yesterday, Amy got engaged in their website by ordering some items for today's delivery.  The website was easy for her to use.  This is the first time she has been involved in ordering anything online.  I'm giving Streamline credit for finding another activity that Amy and I can do together.  (I believe that sharing life experiences together is an important element of maintaining a healthy and enjoyable marriage or relationship -- that'll be $500 please.)  Amy ordered a few "special treats."

Selection
Outstanding selection of grocery items.

The Minuses:

Put The Birdseed Back in its Place
I keep my birdseed inside the bulkhead to make sure that the squirrels do not eat it (they eat through hard plastic that is left outdoors).  The field delivery person moved the birdseed out of the way when making the delivery and failed to place the birdseed back inside the bulkhead.  I might have to report them to the Audobon Society.

My Aching Back
I did not enjoy hauling the groceries up the stairs.  The groceries were placed in several plastic containers and I had to haul them up one or two at a time (more than two is unwise due to container size).

----------------------------------

Yesterday, I made an initial contact with Zoots for dry cleaning.  I'll be signing up and using their service.  They offer free door-to-door dry cleaning service and reasonable rates (love those purple vans).  I'll report back after my first set of experiences with them.
