24/7 DIARY ENTRY

Dear Diary
November 23
Zoots.  My suit and blazer were lonely sitting on my garage floor waiting for you.  When you didn't show up they nearly burst into tears.  You let me and them down.  I was looking forward to using your service with the "Purple Vans" -- a pleasing reminder of Northwestern University.

Last week, I signed up to get door-to-door service from Zoots dry cleaners.  I was told that my collection and delivery days were Tuesday and Friday.  I was instructed to leave my load of laundry in my garage (that is the enclosed area that I chose).  I received the "reminder" call last night.  Today, Zoots never came by.  When I brought my clothes in from the garage at the end of the day, I was thinking double Noosie (one from me and one from my clothes).  I've mellowed since then.  No Noosie from me.  For the record, this Noosie is for Mark K.  Last night, over a leisurely evening of grading statistics examinations, he told me that he had used Zoots a few times and that they have lost his clothes on several occasions, and, then always found them at a later date.  He was very impressed with the detailed descriptions of the lost items.  You know what?  Mark, since I'm such a nice guy (and your students were curve wreckers), this Noosie is entirely for you; I'm sure I'll get my chance in the future.

Noosie BAAAAAAABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY (just getting warmed up for March Madness and Dickie V.).

Wow, the last time I did something like this, I was an undergrad studying computer science in the basement of the computer center.  Scary.  But the Noosie can bring that out in you.
