I received a $5 off coupon in the mail today from Kozmo.com.  The mailer stated that they sell books and that they are selling all compact discs for $9.99.  I was looking to make a purchase today and Amy did mention that she would love to receive Tara Road -- an Oprah's Book Club selection.  No time like the present to get a present (shmile), especially when $5 is burning a hole in your pocket.

At 6:52 pm, I transmitted my order for Tara Road to Kozmo.com.  I then went upstairs to give the boys a bath and get them ready for bed.  At 7:52 pm, the door bell rang, and a young gentlemen standing on the front door steps asked "Hi, did you order Tara Road?"  Books, compact discs, videos, snacks, magazines, and more are available with one hour or less free delivery from Kozmo.com.  Gosh darn it Sparky, give that dog a bone.  I'll be placing a compact disc order tomorrow; who needs Tower Records?

Buy.com's price for the book is $12.48; their price with regular shipping is $16.43, with 2nd day air shipping is $20.43, and with next day air shipping is $23.43 (by the way, Buy.com specifies that next day air does not necessarily mean that the product will arrive the next day; it means that when they finally put the order together for shipping -- could be 1-2 days -- it will arrive the next day after it is shipped).  Decisions, decisions.  "I am  the Giver."
