| Take me out to the ball game, take me out for some fun. This
evening, I went to the Red Sox game
with one of my sisters and I watched Toronto pound the good guys
14-9 (I admit that I left when it was 10-2). I wanted to buy my boys
some souvenirs, however, that would have required me to enter a store (oh
well); I did peer into the stores, and I could not understand why
anyone would wait in line and be bumped around by strangers in order to
buy a hat or shirt (maybe they do not like it and aren't aware of the alternatives).
I did buy a sausage and soda on the street and I ate some popcorn inside
the ballpark.
I did not feel any time pressure while attending the game. I believe
that I have picked up some time by not visiting the dirt world (another
expression for bricks-and-mortar stores). I am becoming increasingly
disinterested in the experiences offered by in-physical-store shopping
experiences. If they do not change their practices, then they are
doomed to fail
